San Dieguito High School Academy

As I begin my second year as Assistant Principal at San Dieguito Academy, I’m proud to be part of a school community that values inclusivity, academic rigor, and student voice. With 26 years in education—20 as a math teacher and 6 as an administrator—I’m committed to serving our staff, students and families; and welcome parents to reach out with any questions or concerns. It’s an honor to support the culture of excellence that defines SDA. 

 

 

As an educator, I am celebrating my 25th year, beginning my career as a high school math teacher then moving to site administration at both the high school and middle school level for the past 18 years.  The last 12 years have been in SDUHSD, three as Assistant Principal at Torrey Pines High School, four as Principal at Carmel Valley Middle School and four as Principal at Diegueño Middle School. Regardless of my role, I have always been a part of caring and collaborative teams in education, and I am happy to be here at SDA. 

 

 

 

Beginning my 19th year in the SDUHSD. Born and raised in Long Island NY and a graduate of Uconn & Hofstra University before moving to San Diego 20 years ago. Proud Dad of Reece (4th grade) and Emery (2nd) across the street at Ocean Knoll. I Love all things sports, outdoors and music. Excited and proud to be beginning my second year as a SDA Mustang!
